Here is Episode #36!
Episode #36 - Monster-In-Law? Naw! But they do drive us nuts at times. The flood gates open up as Marie shares her struggles with a Mother-in-law who also has a young girl to parent. Boundaries, heartaches, loyalties, and trust - it's a hard act to balance with a loving family. Add generation gaps and new parenting ideas and it can get maddening! Listen to us vent. Plus we confess who the better cooks are, the moms or the daughters. Don't forget to check out the CCM Blog or simply drop us a line!

Hey ladies, this is Jennifer. I last posted after Halloween, my girls were Annie and my husband dressed up as Daddy Warbucks.
I just had to write to tell you about my MIL. My husband and I have been married for eight years and have two daughters (five and almost three). Last September, my MIL moved in with us. We are in the process of building a new and bigger house, but now, she has a bed in our large living room! And we all LOVE it. Really, I'm not kidding, we LOVE having her here. She and I get along great. There has been NO bickering or anything. The only negative I have found is that I have to make sure I'm fully dressed when I come out of our bedroom. My husband and I laugh though because we now have a chaperone!
I know my family is not the norm, and I have many more stories to prove that one, but we love having her here and she loves to be here. (My husband is an only child and my FIL passed away in 10/05. We're all the family my MIL has!)
BTW, I started a blog at www.houseofjones.com and I have your blog linked on mine. Check it out if you have time!
Hi Jennifer! Good to hear from you again :) I think I could handle my mom or my first MIL if they came without husbands. It WOULD be nice to have the extra love for the kids in the house, but I have to be honest, I don't know about the second MIL!
Wow - chaperone! You are one patient lady! I would take awhile to get used to that aspect.
